As per new BC Energy Step Code, cities require energy modeling report from certified energy advisor with building permit application. Using the architect plans, we can predict the energy efficiency of the home through house modelling.
Blower Door Testing
To fulfill the BC Step Code airtightness requirements, we perform mid-construction and final blower door tests and inspection. We also help builders to identify any air leakages using thermal imaging and smoke testing. Step 5 Solutions is certified to provide Energy Step Code compliance reports.
